The Honourable David Kilgour is a writer-speaker and human rights advocate. He was first elected to the House for Commons (Canada) in 1979 and re-elected 7 consecutive times. He studied at the Université Paris-Sorbonne and also holds a degree in Law from the University of Toronto and a degree in Economics from the University of Manitoba. He currently travels worldwide to discuss topics such as Human Dignity and Human Rights as well as contributing to various publications. He is the recipient of many awards including the Human Rights Prize of the International Society for Human Rights among others.
